At least two of the second-year scholars released by Swindon Town this spring have already secured trials with teams in divisions above.

The Moonraker revealed on Tuesday (April 21), that Town had opted not to offer a third-year scholarship or professional contract to any of the cohort.

While Swindon will offer support to the players as they look for their next steps in their careers, the onus will be on them to find other footballing opportunities.

And two of the group are already making a start.
