It is the time of year when young footballers across the country find out their futures beyond an academy setup.

For the second-year scholars at Swindon Town, those futures will be away from the County Ground.

The Moonraker understands none of Swindon Town’s second-year scholars have been offered third-year deals or professional contracts at the County Ground.

The group includes players who have experienced first-team gametime during their spell in the academy.
