Swindon Town appear likely to lose Finley Munroe this month after a pair of Championship clubs showed interest in the on-loan Aston Villa defender.

The Moonraker understands both Bristol City and Middlesbrough have made it known they want to sign the 20-year-old.

Boro are believed to have made a formal bid, though it is unclear whether this is the case with City.

Munroe’s loan agreement includes a recall/return window that expires in the middle of January.
