Munroe trained as normal with Ian Holloway and the Town squad at Beversbrook on Monday afternoon, but was seen deep in conversation on the phone after the session. His recall was confirmed on Monday evening.

Munroe’s loan agreement includes a recall/return window that expires in the middle of January. At this stage, it appears increasingly likely Villa will activate the option, in order to facilitate a sale.
