Harry Smith has confirmed conversations over a new contract have started with Swindon Town's senior management.
The Moonraker reported on April 30 that the club were poised to offer the centre forward a new deal following an impressive season, at the end of which he was named players' player of the year.
Smith has 12 months left on his current contract, which is due to expire at the end of the 2025/26 campaign.
But Swindon see him as critical to their potential success next term, and as such want to tie him down to an extension.
