At 36, Sinclair is heading towards the end of his career. And it has been a glittering career.
He has represented his country at the Olympics, played for two of England’s biggest domestic clubs, and won silverware at various levels.
But Swindon have to be sensible. Where would Scott Sinclair fit into the systems and squad put together in pretty regimental fashion by manager Ian Holloway and his recruitment team these past two-and-a-half months?
