Signed photographs from third-party vendors don't bring players and fans closer together... a sense of community does

The words of David Knight, head of partnerships at From The Club – a sports memorabilia company with which Swindon Town have recently entered into an agreement.

So what, you may say. Swindon need to find new ways to earn money, and signed shirts are coveted items in many a fan’s collection. Do you really need to dig out a negative?

In all honesty, no. The club has had to be a sponge for so much warranted criticism over recent months and years that it seems almost cruel to inflict further wounds without due cause.
