On Friday, at his pre-match press conference ahead of the trip to Crewe Alexandra, The Moonraker asked Ian Holloway to elaborate on how he has been backed by Clem Morfuni in the latter stages of the summer transfer window.

Holloway has been effusive in his praise of Morfuni, and – when approaching the subject from the manager’s perspective - understandably so.

The Swindon Town chairman has taken steps to ensure his manager has had access to the funds necessary to bulk out his squad and cover for the unfortunate injury to Harry Smith.
