In early February, during his 10-day visit to the UK, Swindon Town majority shareholder Clem Morfuni took Ian Holloway out for dinner and discussed a contract extension.
Those conversations were left open-ended but, six weeks ago, the general consensus was a new deal would be forthcoming, and would most likely be signed.
Morfuni told The Moonraker on February 4 that an offer had been made verbally to Holloway.
On February 21, Holloway declared the arrangement “almost done”.
