On Tuesday night, Ian Holloway takes charge of his 100th game as Swindon Town manager.
In the modern game, reaching such a landmark is quite a considerable achievement. It represents at least some sense of longevity, which is a rare quality for a manager in 2026.
During his time in charge, Holloway has presided over a general improvement in results, at least when pitted against his four direct predecessors. And his overall track record as Robins manager is superior to the vast majority of those who’ve had the job before him in the 21st century.
Holloway’s current win percentage (47.47%) challenges most of the top managers in the club’s entire history.
