Farewell then, 2024, we won't be sad to see you go... can the new year wave in new hope at Swindon Town?
Enjoyment has been rarer than a Frenchman’s steak. Optimism has proven elusive. Dawns have too often been false, promises have too often been broken. And so the year has ended in scenes of protest and division, with the fabric of this club’s community feeling fundamentally fractured.

So long then, 2024. Do us a favour and close the door on the way out.
By just about every conceivable metric, this was an annus horribilis for our club.
On the pitch, off the pitch, in the media and in the EFL’s dock, there have been enough negative headlines to fill a month of nightly news.
For fans, players and backroom staff, it has been a slog: it has tested patience, confidence, wits, energy levels, self-belief, and enthusiasm.
