At this stage, club and Trust appear to be playing the roles of warring parents; the AB is the uncomfortable marriage, and the dual notions of ‘fan representation’ and ‘transparency’ the pair’s poor, beleaguered children.

Another month, another hoo-ha around the Swindon Town Advisory Board.
The last AB meeting took place on August 21. Under its terms of reference, minutes from that session should have been made available to supporters within a week. Instead, it took four.
How that transpired raises questions about the direction of the Advisory Board, highlights divisions within it, and leaves one main thought loitering: what, really, is the point of it all?
