Manager, club and fans all want Ian Holloway to stay at Swindon Town... so why is that new contract taking so long?

In early February, during his 10-day visit to the UK, Swindon Town majority shareholder Clem Morfuni took Ian Holloway out for dinner and discussed a contract extension.

Those conversations were left open-ended but, six weeks ago, the general consensus was a new deal would be forthcoming, and would most likely be signed.

Morfuni told The Moonraker on February 4 that an offer had been made verbally to Holloway.
