Ryan Tafazolli will have to miss Swindon Town’s regular run-in against his wishes, after fracturing his arm against Walsall.
Tafazolli has suffered a minor fracture just below his elbow, identified by an X-ray ahead of the trip to Colchester United on Friday (April 11).
While the towering defender has voiced his determination to play on regardless, Swindon manager Ian Holloway is reluctant to risk the 34-year-old until his arm has been given chance to heal.
That is likely to need three to four weeks, meaning Tafazolli could well be available once again come the League Two playoffs – if Swindon qualify.
