Udoka Godwin-Malife is the latest player to depart Swindon Town, with the defender joining Burton Albion for an undisclosed fee.

Godwin-Malife was one of the few bright sparks in the Town squad during a dismal 2023/24 campaign, impressing in bursts at both right wing-back and in the central defensive three.

His performances drew plenty of admiring glances from across the leagues, and it is little surprise to see him move on, despite Swindon triggering a contract extension at the end of the season.

Godwin-Malife made 42 appearances for Town after arriving from Forest Green Rovers last summer.
