Trust STFC identify "tipping point" in Clem Morfuni's ownership as fan group's latest statement lays foundations for future action

The Trust have not always been publicly confrontational with Morfuni during his tenure, despite there being strenuous attempts to hold him to account behind the scenes. In this statement, however, there is a noticeable shift in tone.

Trust STFC have got as close as they have ever been to calling for regime change at Clem Morfuni's Swindon Town.

In a memo sent to members on Tuesday (October 6), the Trust dissected recent events at the County Ground, including remarks by Ian Holloway in which he described both himself and Morfuni as dead men walking, as part of a narrative that concluded by saying a tipping point had been reached.

While the Trust do not go so far as to call for the immediate departures of Morfuni, his fellow directors or the ownership structure as a whole, the statement is a substantial development in the relationship between the two parties.
