Swindon Town have confirmed the signing of Tom Nichols on loan until the end of the season.

Nichols joins from Mansfield Town in search of regular gametime after enduring a frustrating year at Field Mill.

The forward has struggled for gametime with the Stags, and fell further down the pecking order following the club's promotion to League One in May.

The 31-year-old travelled down to Wiltshire on Wednesday night (January 8) and passed his medical early on Thursday morning (January 9) before training with his new teammates on the 4G at Foundation Park.
