Clem Morfuni is not lining up an exit from Swindon Town, despite the sudden manoeuvrings in the boardroom, according to a club spokesperson.

Morfuni has appointed two new directors to three companies in the Robins’ ownership chain over the past two days – with club chief executive Anthony Hall and Ben Gristwood, the owner of local security firm Platinum – joining the boards.

On Thursday evening (October 16), Town released a statement claiming the appointments were strategic.
