Cambridge United have cooled their interest in Harry Smith after seeing two bids for the striker rejected by Swindon Town.
Cambridge failed with a pair of offers for Smith last week, as they continue to look for a targetman striker capable of leading them back into League One.
The first, worth £75,000 in what The Moonraker understands to be two instalments spread over more than a year, was dismissed out of hand.
The second, believed to be £100,000 up front plus performance related add-ons, drew a similar response from Swindon.
