Swindon Town without two top goalscorers at Fleetwood, as doubts remain over Tom Nichols and Joe Snowdon

Joe Snowdon and Tom Nichols face late fitness tests ahead of the weekend trip to Fleetwood Town.

Snowdon has missed the last two matches with a hamstring injury, but was undergoing medical assessment at Swindon Town’s training ground in Calne on Thursday morning (November 13) ahead of a potential return to selection contention.

He was joined for examination at Beversbrook by Tom Nichols, who reported soreness after the victory over Tranmere Rovers last weekend and sat out the midweek trip to MK Dons in the EFL Trophy.

Both players will be given the best possible chance to be a part of the travelling group that makes the long trek to Fleetwood, as Town manager Ian Holloway battles against significant injury, illness and suspension issues.
