Rosaire Longelo is the subject of interest from a rival League Two club.
Longelo only joined Swindon Town in the summer, but has found regular gametime difficult to come by during his brief spell in Wiltshire.
The 25-year-old has made 21 appearances for Swindon, but fewer than half (nine) have been starts.
Salford City are believed to be interested in taking the wide player back to the north west: he was at Accrington Stanley for two-and-a-half years prior to his switch to the County Ground.
