Swindon Town unlikely to be able to compete for Kabongo Tshimanga after forward's release by Peterborough United
Peterborough opted against taking up an option within Tshimanga’s contract at London Road, which would have seen him stay another year if triggered. That option is believed to have come with a sizeable wage hike.

Swindon Town could well be priced out of any potential move for Kabongo Tshimanga this summer.
Tshimanga has been released by Peterborough United after a season on loan at the Robins.
The Congolese forward scored 13 times, nearly half of which came from the penalty spot, in 44 appearances for Swindon in 2024/25.
Tshimanga is considered a model professional by manager Ian Holloway, who saw him as a good influence in the dressing room during his time in Wiltshire.
