Ian Holloway has been appointed as the new manager of Swindon Town.

Holloway joins Town on a deal until the end of the season, following the sacking of Mark Kennedy.

The former QPR and Bristol Rovers manager will formally take up the reins of the club on Monday (October 28).

However, he will be present to watch Swindon take on Gillingham at the County Ground on Saturday (October 26). Marcus Bignot and Gavin Gunning will take charge of the Robins in the game against the Gills.
