Swindon Town are set to be without Joel McGregor and Aaron Drinan until the new year as the pair deal with minor injuries.

Both players missed the 3-1 victory over Grimsby Town at the County Ground on Saturday (December 21).

McGregor has a similar issue to Harrison Minturn. The full-back has complained of pain in his groin when attempting to accelerate, and is being seen to by Swindon's medical team.

Town boss Ian Holloway had been worried Minturn may have suffered a so-called 'Gilmore's groin' injury, a hernia-type problem which would have required surgery to remedy.
