Swindon Town are to add further experience to their defensive ranks with the signing of Grant Hall.

Hall, who had a loan stint at Swindon nearly 10 years ago, is expected to be announced as the club's seventh summer acquisition in the coming days.

The 32-year-old was a free agent following his release by Rotherham United at the end of last season.

Hall began his career at Lewes, before moving to Brighton and then Tottenham. It was Spurs who loaned the centre-back to Town in 2013-14.
