Swindon Town have surpassed their total season ticket sales for last season just in time for the start of the new campaign.

As of lunchtime on Friday (July 25), the Robins had sold 4,215 season tickets compared to total sales of 4,212 last term.

With substantial four-figure away followings expected for the League Two opener at Walsall and the EFL Cup trip to Cardiff, it appears Town fans are putting their backing behind manager Ian Holloway and his players.

Swindon chief executive Anthony Hall said: "Last season, we were proud to have over 4,200 passionate supporters secure season tickets – a true testament to the strength and loyalty of our community.
