A former Sheffield Wednesday winger with Championship appearances under his belt is among several players on trial with Swindon Town in early pre-season.
The Moonraker understands at least four players have joined the Robins for sessions at Beversbrook this week, and several are set to take part in the friendly fixture against Swindon Supermarine on Saturday (July 4).
One of those is an attacker who spent the last four years with Sheffield Wednesday, working his way through the development pathway.
