Swindon Town have promoted teenage goalkeeper Charlie Summers into the first-team squad on a full-time basis.
Summers, who was due to enter the second year of his scholarship at the County Ground next season, has been rewarded for his excellent progression with his first professional contract – as predicted by The Moonraker last month.
The youngster was a regular attendee at senior training last season, working alongside Connor Ripley, Lewis Ward and Steve Mildenhall.
