Swindon Town have been the subject of takeover interest from a variety of parties over the past year, but none have been able to agree a fee with chairman Clem Morfuni.

On The Price of Football Podcast on Tuesday (September 9), football finance expert Kieran Maguire revealed he had been asked to value the club by a prospective buyer.

And The Moonraker is also aware of several potential suitors for Swindon making themselves known over the course of recent months.

However, as Maguire mentioned, the sticking point appears to have routinely been the overall price tag, as determined by Morfuni.
