The signing of Sam Inwood appears to have covered two vacancies in the Swindon Town squad in one.
Inwood was confirmed as the Robins' sixth signing of the summer on Monday (August 3), joining on a season-long loan deal from Bolton Wanderers.
He is capable of playing both as a left-sided centre-back and a left-back, similar to Tom Wilson-Brown, who spent a year with Swindon on loan from Leicester City last term.
That is useful versatility for Town, who have been looking for an option in each area of late, given the limited number of left-footers in the squad.
