Swindon Town have secured the signing of non-league hotshot Jake Tabor following an impressive five days on trial in Wiltshire.

Tabor, who was being monitored by a host of other EFL and National League clubs, has put pen to paper on his first professional contract with the Robins.

His name had been circulating in the football world thanks to goalscoring feats for Amersham Town at steps five and six of the pyramid.

A remarkable 127 goals in 91 appearances brought him to the attention of scouts across the country, and when he subsequently became a free agent after leaving Amersham at the end of last season several stepped in to offer a trial.
