John Bostock has picked Solihull Moors over Swindon Town for family reasons.

The midfielder spent more than a fortnight training at Town, and was offered a contract by the Robins, but has instead opted to drop into the National League next season.

Bostock is understood to have favoured the move as it meant he would not have to uproot his family from their current home. He had been on the books at Notts County and lives in the Midlands.

Swindon had tried hard to land the player, who would add experience and creativity to the middle of midfield.
