Swindon Town have offered Botan Ameen a professional contract amid an upturn in interest in the teenager.

Ameen, 18, joined Town’s academy at the start of the 2022/23 season following his release by QPR.

He has made excellent progress through the pathway, starring in the under-18s’ run to the quarter-finals of the FA Youth Cup in 2023/24 before breaking into the first-team squad this term.

And recently, recruitment departments in the Premier League and Championship have had their heads turned by his performances at senior level, his data, and his potential.
