A Swindon Town fan protest group has been formed with the single expressed goal of getting majority shareholder Clem Morfuni to publicly welcome offers to buy the beleaguered League Two club.
'The Spirit of '69' has been launched by two former board members of Trust STFC, Dan Hunt and Terry Pierce, and the founder of the largest Swindon fan podcast, Rich Pullen.
In a statement, released on Tuesday (November 26), the group announced its intention to stage "non-obtrusive protests before and after games", starting with the visit of Grimsby Town to the County Ground on December 21.
They have also pledged "a programme of online and offline action to create noise and pressure on the ownership hierarchy at our club, and will not rest until Mr Morfuni et al publicly list the club for sale".
