Ollie Palmer is among the players of interest to Swindon Town as they hunt for a striker in the remainder of the transfer window.

Palmer, 33, fits the profile Town are looking for as a replacement for Harry Smith, who ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament last week and has been ruled out for the season.

The Wrexham forward would be available for a move away from the Championship club. And a report in The Swindonian on Tuesday (August 26) indicated a deal had been done with Swindon.
