Swindon Town are expected to make a contract offer to at least one of the trialists they have had as part of the squad this summer.
The Robins have hosted a succession of out-of-contract players over the course of the past four weeks, as they have steadily cranked up preparations for the new campaign.
Some have been called into the group to help make up numbers, others as favours to connections in the game, but some have been viewed as realistic options.
And The Moonraker understands there have been conversations over making an offer to at least one.
