Swindon Town are set to swap out their gold third strip for a version that conjures memories of the mid 1990s.
The Robins’ changed kit for 2025/26 – used sparingly, and usually when both home and away strips clashed with their opponents – split opinion, with fans divided on the off-gold hue.
The 2026/27 version is likely to be well received, however, as it harks back to a time when the club sat at the higher end of English football.
The Moonraker understands Swindon are set to employ red pin stripes on white, a similar look to that donned by the likes of Jan Aage Fjortoft all those years ago.
