It was one in, one out in Swindon Town's goalkeeping department on Wednesday (July 2).

The Robins confirmed the signing of Lewis Ward, as previously reported by The Moonraker, allowing young stopper Redman Evans to go out on loan to Alvechurch.

Ward has put pen to paper on a one-year contract at the County Ground, and will now start a third stint at the club.

The 28-year-old will provide cover for and support to Connor Ripley, and is expected to spend much of the season on the substitutes' bench.
