Ryan Delaney is set to become Swindon Town's next summer signing.
The centre-back is understood to be close to joining Town after turning down the option of a new contract with Newport County.
Delaney, 27, has more than 200 career appearances to his name across stints with various clubs in the lower reaches of the EFL and in Ireland.
He has been sidelined since February by a knee injury, and may well not be available to Swindon for most of pre-season.
