Ian Holloway believes Swindon Town are still carrying the scars of last season's collapse, and that the hangover is beginning to affect a group of players who had nothing to do with it.
Town's run of four consecutive defeats has quickly brought negativity back to the surface, with the manner of the losses against York City and in the EFL Trophy doing little to improve an increasingly anxious mood around the club.
But for Holloway, what is happening now cannot be completely separated from what happened during the final weeks of last season.
Because the frustration which currently surrounds Swindon did not begin with defeat at York, Salford or against Newport County.
