Swindon Town have agreed a loan deal for an Ireland under-21 midfielder.

The Robins have sought strength in depth during the final two weeks of the window, with manager Ian Holloway keen to have enough cover in the event of injuries or suspensions.

Having primarily focused on defence, wide players and forwards in this window, but The Moonraker understands a reinforcement to Swindon’s options in the middle of the park will be added on deadline day.

A move for Bristol City’s Adam Murphy is believed to have been negotiated, which will see the 20-year-old join Town on a season-long loan.
