Swindon Town have accepted a bid for Botan Ameen from a Championship side.
The young forward’s third-year scholarship at the County Ground will expire at the end of the season, and he has declined Swindon’s offer of a professional contract.
Ameen was the subject of interest from several sides early in the summer, but initially Town manager Ian Holloway was reluctant to see the player leave.
However, The Moonraker understands there has been a change of position in the past few days, and now an offer has been accepted.
