Sonny Hart remains contracted to Swindon Town, it has been confirmed.
The defender’s name was conspicuous by its absence in any part of the Town retained list earlier this summer.
Hart was generally assumed to be out of contract at the end of last season, alongside his fellow graduates from the academy class of 2024.
However, a loan switch into non-league last week indicated that all was not as might have been thought.
