Swindon Town have allowed Sonny Hart to go out on trial during pre-season in an effort to secure a loan stint away from the County Ground in 2025/26.

Hart has one more year to run on his contact with Town, but is likely to be surplus to requirements in Wiltshire over the coming months – unless in the event of an injury crisis.

With that in mind, manager Ian Holloway is keen for him to get first-team experience elsewhere, and a chance has come up for Hart to lock down a loan deal.

Holloway would not disclose the name of the club, nor the precise level of the football pyramid they operate in.
