Swindon Town’s pre-season injury problems show little sign of easing, but The Moonraker has learned of some light relief after a friendly against Bristol City that left fans worried.

Town saw four players withdraw from the action with a variety of issues, from James Ball pulling out of the warmup to Fletcher Holman leaving the County Ground on crutches with a hamstring concern.

While Holman’s injury is expected to be serious – Swindon are waiting for a scan to determine the extent of the damage – there are more positive outlooks for the others.

The Moonraker understands Filozofe Mabete and James Ball are fine and are due back in training this week.
