A bout of illness has interrupted Swindon Town training over the past fortnight, with several players laid low at various times.

Preparations for the games against Cheltenham Town last weekend and Doncaster Rovers this Saturday (October 19) have been hit, while the youth team has also suffered.

Swindon head coach Mark Kennedy revealed on Thursday (October 17), that various squad members have had time off as a result of the bug going around the camp.

"They've all lost a considerable amount of weight," Kennedy said.
