Several of Swindon Town’s senior players are approaching fitness after injury layoffs, but the Robins are having to deal with yet more fitness issues following the 2-1 home defeat by Crystal Palace Under-21s.
Ollie Clarke is back in training and the captain may well play a role at Salford City this weekend.
Meanwhile, Ryan Taffazolli is expected to be involved in the session on Friday, though it is unlikely he will be in a position to play 90 minutes at the weekend.
Ollie Palmer is out for at least two months with an ankle problem, while Tom Nichols and James Ball both missed training on Thursday. The latter pair are anticipated to be available to Ian Holloway at Salford.
