Sean McGurk's loan spell at Yeovil Town has been cut short by injury.

McGurk made an excellent first impression with the Glovers in the National League, having joined in an initial one-month temporary switch in December.

That was subsequently extended until the end of the campaign in January, but he will now return to the County Ground after suffering a thigh strain.

McGurk came off the bench during Yeovil's 1-0 defeat at Halifax on Saturday (March 8) but lasted just 13 minutes before the injury forced his withdrawal.
