Swindon Town face a fight to keep Botan Ameen this summer, with a host of clubs monitoring the teenager.
The Moonraker understands more than a dozen scouts were sent to the County Ground on Saturday (March 22) for Swindon’s clash with Accrington Stanley, with a specific brief to assess Ameen.
Many of those scouts are believed to have been representing teams in the Premier League and Championship, as word of the forward’s potential spreads further through the English football pyramid.
Ameen has not yet signed a professional contract with Town, whom he joined as a 16-year-old following his release from QPR nearly two years ago.
