Swindon Town have made contract offers to a pair of defenders at either end of their respective careers.
The Moonraker understands Ryan Tafazolli and Billy Kirkman have received offers as Town finalise their retained list for the next season.
Tafazolli is believed to be the subject of interest from a handful of other League Two teams, but is expected to sign on for another year.
The towering centre-back is understood to have had a clause within his existing contract which would have triggered an automatic extension had he played a certain number of matches last term.
